Hellenic Cosmos is an ultramodern museum, where visitors can learn Hellenic history with the help of state-of-the-art technology. A former industrial area at Pireos street has been transformed into a centre of culture and education.

Hellenic Cosmos, the Cultural Centre of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, was inaugurated in 1998 aiming at housing FHW's far-reaching vision (www.fhw.gr): the preservation of Hellenic history and tradition and the creation of an awareness of the universal dimension of Hellenism, with basic tool state-of-the-art technologies. This year Hellenic Cosmos completed 13 years of creation and contribution to the cultural life of Athens. During this period, Hellenic Cosmos has received the greatest number of student visitors in Greece, according to the official data by the Ministry of Education. At the same time, it has been established as an ultramodern Cultural Centre, where the visitor can learn Hellenic history and culture through interactive exhibitions, educational programmes, Virtual Reality tours and documentaries, combining perfectly historical information and state-of-the-art technological applications.
